The Village of Milan selected Studio GC and the Ryan Companies to design a combination police department / village hall to replace its 1950s-era facility. The new 32,000 SF, $7.5 million facility was constructed on a three-acre site selected along the nearby Rock River, which required a special elevation and flooding considerations. Features included four (4) city departments, a 911 Call Center, courtroom, detention area (with four holding cells, interview room) and administrative areas.
