The Morgan Park Sports Center, owned by the Chicago Park District, is a new 64,000 SF building which contains an indoor ice rink facility, gymnastics center, two classrooms as well as support program spaces. The state-of-the-art skating facility was constructed per NHL dimensions and will accommodate year-round competitive hockey with a capacity of 845 spectators. The 11,700 SF world-class training gymnastics gym will be a year round practice facility with the ability to accommodate standard USGA competitions. The 2.63 acre project site includes 73 parking stalls with designated spaces for accessible parking and fuel efficient vehicles.
