The City of Morris contracted Studio GC to design a 52,000 SF combined police department/city hall. The city obtained the old Center Elementary School property, and initiated a tax increment financing (TIF) district to fund the project. By delaying the construction process for a year due to the economy, city leaders were able to take advantage of cost-savings in the bidding process.
