To promote student agency and exploration, Niles THSD 219 and Studio GC embarked on a plan to renovate all the science labs at Niles West and North High Schools. Flooring patterns allow for teaching surfaces to be used in the physics labs, allowing students to measure rolling paths in metric distances. The perimeter wall casework features a writable whiteboard laminate that allows teachers and students to make notes of discoveries or inquiries spontaneously.
