Since 2016 Studio GC has worked with NilesTHSD 219 to create several new Career Pathways learning spaces, including culinary labs, science labs, welding labs, CNA labs, and renovated Broadcasting / Journalism studios. The new training areas will expose students to hands-on training and experiences. The Culinary labs are a renovation of one combined area to create two separate culinary labs, each with technology to broadcast work surface or instruction media to individual student stations. The Chef’s Lab features a demonstration island for entry-level skills and instruction. The Commercial Lab includes advanced cooking equipment and settings for advanced and gourmet courses and career pathways.
