Studio GC worked with Niles West High School to complete an extensive overhaul to modernize and enhance the aquatic facility. This project aims to improve the pool area’s functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal, ensuring it meets current standards and serves students, athletes, and the community better. Key features include extending the depth of the pool, new lighting, a complete overhaul of the pool’s mechanical and HVAC systems, updated timing equipment, remodeled coaches’ offices, enhanced grandstand area including glass railings for unobstructed sightlines and new school graphics, and updated record boards to celebrate achievements and create a vibrant atmosphere. The project was completed before the 2024 school year.
