The CORE Fitness & Aquatics Complex

Lemont Park District contracted Studio GC to design its new community fitness & aquatic facility. The CORE is a state-of-the-art fitness facility that has over 100 pieces of the fitness equipment. Features for the 70,000 square-foot facility include a 8,000 sq. ft. six-lane indoor pool, three-station gymnasium, elevated running track, studio space, and multi-purpose room. Its “green” elements include a light-colored roof, energy-efficient wall/roof/window assemblies, and an energy-efficient HVAC system.
