Studio GC worked with Whitewater Public Library on an addition and renovation project. Key upgrades include a new main entrance, two new meeting rooms with operable partitions that allow the spaces to be combined into one large space, and a versatile maker space that can also open to the meeting rooms for large group activities or presentations. The addition added a dedicated office, storage, teen spaces, and two small group rooms for collaborative and private study activities. Renovations to existing areas feature new carpeting and paint, upgraded door hardware for improved accessibility, and the addition of a family room and family toilet in the children’s area. The project additionally features a renovation of toilet rooms to improve capacity and accessibility.
